The national statistics office Statec published a mid-term outlook predicting that the Luxembourg economy will benefit from ‘balanced and sustained expansion’ over the next years. A growth of 4.5% is expected until the end of 2019.
Statec said the economic expansion would benefit all sectors, be marked by a non-inflationary environment and see unemployment fall to an annual average of 5%.
